In his speech, the dean presented a snapshot of ISB’s decade-long journey and the School’s vision for the future. He spoke with pride about ISB’s consistent ranking among the Top 20 business schools as featured in the Financial Times, London. He also stressed on the diversity in the classrooms, “Since inception, ISB has groomed about a thousand women and strives to bring a gender balance to the adana escort corporate world.” He then invited the president to unveil a painting by Chippa Ankara Escort, commemorating ISB’s 10th year.
The next speaker, Analjit Singh cited Mohali, ISB’s second campus, as an example of a successful public-private partnership at work since the campus was established with the support and encouragement from the government of Punjab.
Kiran Kumar Reddy spoke about his initial opposition to the setting up of ISB in Hyderabad, based on the institute’s policy of no reservation for students from the state. He continued, that despite lack of quota, many qualified students from this state had been successfully admitted to the School. Stressing on the importance of development in the rural sector, the chief minister urged the students to “find solutions to the problems we face in the country, especially in agriculture and horticulture.” This set the tone for the president’s address, on "Role of Young Business Leaders in Achieving Inclusive Growth and Nation Building".
Urging the students to participate in India’s growth, the president enthused students, “to align their goals with priorities of the nation.” Citing India’s high percentage of youth – 300 million working-age people in the next forty years – she said, “Their energy and enthusiasm must be guided to productive work.”
At the heart of her address was rural sector inclusion in India’s growth. Entrepreneurship education can be a societal change agent. As a facilitator of entrepreneurs, she urged ISB to engage in India’s rural sector. “Farmers are private entrepreneurs. They are risk takers. Why not have two risk takers come together?”
Eskişehir Escort Rangnekar acknowledged her concern and assured her of ISB’s commitment toward empowering rural India and thanked the dignitaries for their support.
