Panel Discussion Marks London Celebration of ISB’s 10th Anniversary
An event was hosted in London to celebrate 10th anniversary of The Indian School of Business (ISB). The event was graced by distinguished academics and members from the industry. The highlight of the evening was a panel discussion on “Building India’s Intellectual Infrastructure.”
Ambassador Rajesh Prasad, acting Indian High Commissioner to the UK, presented the opening remarks on the occasion. Ambassador Prasad, who declared himself an “alumnus of ISB” after having attended a programme at the School, spoke on Indo-UK partnership in education and presented the government’s perspective on India’s intellectual capital.
The speakers at the event included Phanish Puranam, Professor of Strategic and International Management at London Business School (LBS) and Co-Director of the Birla India Research Centre based at LBS, Sir Thomas Harris, Vice-Chairman of Standard Chartered Capital Markets Ltd, and noted Economist, Lord Meghnad Desai.
