An Evening with the Indian School of Business in Chennai
The Indian School of Business (ISB) organised a panel discussion in Chennai on “Fostering Innovation in the Next Decade”, as part of the series of events commemorating the School’s 10th anniversary. The notable panelists included B Muthuraman, Vice Chairman, Tata Steel, Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice izmir escort Chairman, Cognizant Technology Solutions and member of the ISB’s Executive Board, and Vellayan Subbiah, Managing Director, Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company. ISB Eskişehir Escort Ajit Rangnekar moderated the discussion.
At the heart of the talk was the importance of creating a culture that celebrates failures as this would inherently motivate individuals to stretch their potential. The speakers drew upon their experiences to give many examples in this regard.
They also highlighted the role of education in fostering innovation and discussed the value of incorporating sociology, music, philosophy and Indian mythology in inculcating this spirit of innovation.
An interactive question-and-answer session followed, with participation from members of the alumni community, industry and the government.
