As someone who has been associated with the Indian School of Business from early days, I feel proud of the School's achievement and its standing in the academic and business community. ISB was established as a research based school and the faculty achievements today speak for themselves.

-Anjani Jain, Adjunct Professor of Operations and Information Management, Vice Dean and Director, Wharton Graduate Division, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania

More than ten years ago, many of us dreamed of a world-class educational institution in India where we would not only go and teach the best young minds and leaders, but also engage in cutting-edge research. ISB was born and promised to fulfill that dream. I taught the founding class and have taught every class since then. With ongoing research collaborations, academic conferences, centre activities and a sabbatical year at ISB, my ties with students, alumni, faculty colleagues, and with many friends and members of the larger ISB community have made ISB a second home to me, my wife and my children.

A wonderful place to visit, to teach and to work.

-Krishna Ramaswamy, Professor of Finance, The Wharton School

I am proud of my association with the ISB, as I have watched it grow from a mere idea into a robust institution that is shaping India’s youth into business leaders and entrepreneurs. In the years to come, I am confident that the School will continue to stay relevant to all its stake holders - students, faculty and business houses. I expect to see the ISB and its students create a wider impact on all walks of life – entrepreneurship, social interventions and even government and bureaucracy. My heartiest congratulations to the ISB on completing this important milestone.

When we set about setting up ISB we were very focussed on meeting the demand for high-quality managers by the burgeoning Indian economy and the need for an Indian institution to build thought-leadership on management issues. Today, the ISB has not only achieved that, but is also making a tremendous contribution to creating opportunities for hundreds of worthy students whose lives and careers are being transformed by their association with ISB. It is finding these diamonds in the rough and kick-starting their leadership journeys that is the most significant impact of ISB on India.

-Pramath Sinha, Founding Dean, Indian School of Business and Managing Director of 9.9 Mediaworx Pvt Ltd

ISB, as a school, has established new standards in business education in India. It is indeed heartening to see the School make significant strides in the 10 years of its existence. My best wishes to all those who are associated with the School!

Becoming an FT Top 12 B-school is no mean achievement in itself, but doing this in just 10 years is nothing short of extraordinary. ISB demonstrates that excellence is by practice, by grit and by constantly applying vision - a higher purpose to every detail - not just the core, which is the school itself but also the peripherals. As someone who has been associated for so long, I take pride in its growth and its values, and look forward to seeing it achieving much greater heights in the future.

- Shiv Nadar, Founder, HCL Chairman, HCL Technologies and Shiv Nadar Foundation

Happy 10th ISB, and all who created it and then continue to make it a world class institution for business education! Thanks for the opportunity to teach in the PGP for five years, and then help hire younger faculty to replace ourselves! Now I am enjoying teaching in the new PGPMAX programme, and have the privilege to serve as an area leader. I never worked in India, as I went to the U.S. right after graduation, so I always felt guilty for not giving back to my country. Thank you, ISB, for providing me the opportunity to contribute to India in a small way.

-Sudhakar D Deshmukh, Charles E Morrison Professor of Decision Sciences, Co-Director MMM Program, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University

The success of ISB is a perfect example of an educational institution starting with a clear vision and specific objectives and pursuing these objectives with merit as primary focus. The administrative staff and various stakeholders -faculty, students, board, recruiters, industry, donors - have and continue to make invaluable contributions towards fulfillment of these goals. I feel very lucky to have been associated with ISB almost since its beginning. I wish ISB continued success with the complete realisation that the future will be more challenging and competitive. This implies that ISB must renew its resolve to face the future with greater conviction, commitment and courage. To quote “Some people see things as they are, and ask why? I see things that are not, and ask why not?”
