Shri Chandrababu Naidu, ex-Chief Minister for the State of Andhra Pradesh, graced the Indian School of Business (ISB) as part of an event held on campus to celebrate the School’s tenth anniversary. The two-day event in Hyderabad will culminate the year-long celebrations that have been held in various cities across the world.

A panel discussion based on the theme “Journey So Far,” was held as part of the event, in which esteemed panellists such as M R Rao, Dean Emeritus, ISB, Amit Bubna, Assistant Professor of Finance, ISB, Milind Sohoni, Associate Professor of Operations and Management Science, ISB, Mayura Balasubramanian, an ISB alumnus and Shri Chandrababu Naidu shared their experiences in building the School in its formative years. Dean Ajit Rangnekar moderated the discussion.

The event also saw the launch of the book, “Birds at ISB,” a pioneering work on the abundant bird life on campus by Raghoo Sinha, a retired professor and avid birdwatcher, Raghuram Ananthasayana, an ISB alumnus from the Class of 2011 and Ruchi Sinha, Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at ISB.

Pramath Sinha, Founding Dean, ISB, delivered the closing address in which he talked about some of the early challenges the School faced and despite the odds, ISB’s commitment to break away from the norm in India and attract students who demonstrated leadership skills, and not just grades.

The event was also graced by the Dean of The Fletcher School, Stephen W Bosworth and Dean of the Kellogg School of Management, Sally Blount.
