“Right from the stage of writing the admissions essay for ISB, attending the entrepreneurship course at ISB, constant exposure to individuals who had led value creation both amongst visiting guests as well as students, and most importantly seeing ISB itself as a start up venture up close being member of the founding batch and later its phenomenal growth, every stage contributed to building up the appetite to take risk and follow what you wanted to pursue rather than what your CV suggested you should!

ISB provided the opportunity to take what you could call an academic approach  to developing a business plan. It helped build a business plan from first principles and therefore facilitated a structured way of thinking about any business opportunity. I used the same framework to develop the plan for the business that I am now into!”

His expansion plans include scripted shows, developing events whose rights can be owned by them and script led films! And they also want to Tap the international production market.

“My experience at ISB has helped me understand the unpredictable linkages between global events, pan-India developments and the local real estate market. Without this MBA, understanding the big picture and thus steering through the difficult times would have been that much tougher.

I had always planned to join the business ultimately, but it was ISB which kindled the confidence and analytical outlook that I would bring to the business.

ISB created a shortcut in the normal experience-gaining process everyone goes through otherwise, and gave me a great exposure to broad-based thinking and analysis. This is something one usually gets to learn and experience much later in organizations. ISB helped me to understand the process of running a business by looking through various angles at the same time - competitive strategy, marketing analysis, financial analysis etc. This helped me identify patterns in business and industry and thereby predict trends and chart courses of action.”
